Restaurant Aistear

So we have a new theme this month for Aistear and the children are loving it already! We are role - playing the restaurant.  We are pretending to be waiters, waitresses, chefs and diners. We are cutting and pasting our own menus and making food in the sand.

Chinese New Year

Múinteoir Gráinne's 2nd class invited us to their classroom to hear about their project on China.  They told us all about Chinese customs and traditions.  In return Leon in Junior Infants taught 2nd class how to say Hello and Goodbye in Chinese.  We also made lanterns in Art to celebrate Chinese New Year.
